Open Mic at MHCC
The Student Activities Board will be hosting an open mic Feb. 2 from noon to 1 p.m.in the college center. All students and staff are welcome to participate by signing up at the door. They will be accepting donations at the door for the Tsunami Relief Fund. For more information contact Amy Carroll at [email protected].

Year of the Rooster
The Asian Cultures Appreciation Club will be celebrating the year of the rooster Feb. 8 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Vista Dining Room. There will be many activities including dance, martial arts, food and fun.

Five spots left for Mexico
Live and play in Mexico this spring with the MHCC Spanish program in San Miguel de Allende. There are five spots left and the last day to apply is Feb. 11. Earn up to one full year of college level Spanish while attending the Academia Hispano Americana in San Miguel from April 1 to May 28. Anyone interested in the program are encouraged to sign-up asap. Ray Trayle tribute at MHCC
The MHCC Visual Arts Gallery will be home to a tribute to designer and builder of fine art presses, Ray Trayle. On display from Feb. 2 to Feb. 23, the exhibit will display original prints created by various artists on Ray Trayle presses. A reception will be held Feb. 11 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Visual Arts Gallery. For more information contact Pat Barrett at 503-491-6075 or at [email protected].
