MHCC hosts “Moliere Than Thou”

Timothy Mooney, interpreter for French playwright Moliere, will be presenting his one-man show, “Moliere Than Thou,” in the Visual Arts Gallery Feb. 16.
The show, hosted by Mt. Hood Community College’s Modern Languages department, will run from noon to 2 p.m. Tickets are $5.

Nominate your teacher

The President’s Office is accepting nominations for the 2005 Distinguished Teaching Awards.
Designed to recognized excellent teaching and service to students, forms are available in the President’s Office from 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Nominations may be submitted by any member of the college community. The deadline to return completed forms is 5 p.m. April 1.

SAB helps you stay well

The Student Activities Board will hold “Wellness Fair 2005” Feb. 16 in the College Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Many vendors are scheduled to attend, including L.A. Planetarium explores Saturn

View the wonders of Saturn at the MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater presentation “Ring World: Mission to Saturn,” courtesy of the Cassini spacecraft.
The live, hour-long presentation will feature the latest images of Saturn’s rings as well as the first views of the cloud-shrouded moon Titan.
“Ring World: Mission to Saturn” will be Monday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $1 and visitors are seated on a first come-first served basis.

Volunteer Judges Needed

The MHCC debate team will be sponsoring an annual high school tournament on Feb. 18 and 19.
The forensics team is looking for volunteers to help judge this competition.
