Saturn slide show now in planetarium

Ever wonder what Saturn looks like up in the sky? Thanks to the Cassini Spacecraft and the MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater, students and members of the community were able to find out last Monday evening.

The planetarium presentation begins with a two-minute lecture by Doug McCarty containing some basic information on the planets and stars. The lesson is followed by a slide show of some photos of Saturn. The slide show explores Saturn and its rings. It also explores the night sky and some of the constellations.

If you’re interested in seeing this presentation, it will be shown in the MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater every second Monday through the month of August. Admission is $1 and visitors are seated on a first come, first served basis.
