Bookstore needs to take action to stem book costs

Everyone has noticed how book prices are too high. It’s a traditional college gripe. But some traditions must end.

It’s time to put these complaints to rest. It’s time for a solution.
Could you stage a campus-wide boycott? No, that would be destructive and irresponsible. But neither can we afford to buy books. Such is the paradox.

It’s the publishers who are screwing us into the ground, but the bookstore can still do something to help us. I say we should be offered discounts. Students are buying four or five books a year, shouldn’t we be offered some bulk discount?
