As the date for the sixth edition to the Star Wars series “Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” approaches, businesses are preparing to accommodate and entertain fans who will be anxiously waiting in line until the midnights premiere on May 18.

The Burnside Game Crazy video game company which also host tournaments to all gamers, will be at the Regal Lloyd Center 10 Cinema from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and at Regal Cascade 16 Cinemas in Vancouver, Wash., on May 18.

“[We’ll be having] some gaming tournaments out … we also have Hollywood [Video] involved and they’ll have a couple TV sets showing the old Star Wars movies,” Says Burnside Game Crazy manager Paul Richelieu.

Game Crazy will be assisted with the Star Wars costume group First Garrison. This group has gone to several events and charities dressed as Star Wars character, from Storm Troopers to Bounty Hunters. Yes, they also have a little R2-D2 that accompanies them.

Present at several Game Crazy tournaments for three “Star Wars” games, the group has formed a professional bond with Richelieu. “I told them, if they help me out, I’ll help them out,” said Richelieu. “It goes hand in hand.”

The staff at local theater Regal Stark Street are also planning games like costume contests for their midnight premiere.

If you still haven’t gotten your ticket, Stark Street has with one theater sold out and another theater with tickets still available. “If people want to make the midnight show, buy tickets this weekend,” Said a staff member at the theater.

So shine up your lightsaber and dust off your Darth Vader helmet: There’s going to be a party come May 18.
