Transitions/Transiciones Program Graduation
The Transitions Program at MHCC is holding its twentieth anniversary graduation celebration Friday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to noon in the MHCC Visual Arts Theater, with a reception following. Call 503-491-6018 to RSVP.

MHCC instructor honored by OHSU
Nursing and Allied Health Dean Paula Gubrud-Howe received OHSU’s Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award for 2005.
Gubrud-Howe graduated from OHSU School of Nursing in 1993 and was hired as nursing instructor at MHCC. She became dean of Nursing and Allied Health in 2003.

Planetarium features Saturn
MHCC’s Planetarium Sky Theater will be showing “Saturn Revealed” Monday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. The hour-long, live presentation includes images of Saturn taken by the Cassini Saturn space probe. Admission is $1.

Integrated media holds portfolio day
Students from the graphic design, professional photography, television and radio programs will present their work in an exhibit Monday, June 6 from noon to 7 p.m. The exhibition will be held in the Town and Gown Room and is open to the public. Call 503-491-6992 for more information.

Saints baseball honored with NWAACC awards
Head baseball coach Gabe Sandy was named coach of the year and right-handed pitcher Zach Bird was awarded player of the year this season. Bird led the league in complete games with five and finished with a 9-0 record.
