    An argument opposing Measure 43
Forty-seven states require parental notification or consent prior to a teen getting an abortion. Measure 43 gives Oregonians the opportunity to make the same mistake these other states made and put at-risk teens in dangerous situations, as well as create a potential for compromising private medical information.

Public Safety helps maintain order on campus
The other day I was walking to my car, and I paused to stare at a campus public safety official peeking through the window of a car in the student parking lot. Then after observing the belongings in that car, they moved to the next car. Did they really have a reason to look in those cars? I don’t think so, since they casually walked over to the second car as if it had appeared from nowhere. If you were in class, would you want to be wondering all day if the campus public safety was peeking in your car? I would think not.
