MHCC’s jazz ensemble, Genesis, are performing Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Visual Arts Theater. Admission is $6 for the general public and $3 for students. Doors open at 7 p.m. For more information call (503) 491- 6969.

Debbie Wooten, comedian and motivational speaker will be visiting the Visual Arts Theater Feb. 8 in honor of Black History Month. Sponsored by the Women’s Herstory Celebration, Wooten will speak from noon until 1 p.m. and is free to the general public.

The Latino Club will be giving free Salsa lessons in the Gym (Room 114) on Feb. 2, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Feb. 3 6:30 p.m. to 9. For questions about the lessons, contact (503) 491 – 7213.

The Valentine’s Dance will be held Saturday, Feb. 11 in the Vista Dining Room from 7 p.m. to midnight. The entry fee is $6 per person and $10 per couple.
