Drop deadline now The last day to withdraw from classes is in the seventh week. Students who withdraw will not get a refund. Classes that are considered “short classes” will not be eligible to drop. These classes are five-week courses and weekend classes. Students wanting to drop a class will find a formal drop slip located in the admissions office. These slips do not require the signatures of teachers. Students who withdraw from a class will find a “W” on their transcripts. This simply means that the student withdrew from the class without completing it. Student GPAs will not be affected; however, staff members recommend against dropping the class and try to stick with it. “We hope they don’t withdraw, we hope that they can complete the course and move toward graduation,” said Rob Nielson, executive dean of student development.
