Survivor of WWII attack offers Perspective

Michiko Kornhauser recalled the destruction in her home town in Japan during WWII as she gave a presentation Tuesday afternoon in the Town and Gown Room as a part of the Women’s History Celebration. Growing up in war-torn Japan as the daughter of a Japanese naval officer, Kornhauser gave a unique perspective on the war in which she described Japanese politics during the war and how she and other Japanese civilians survived the bombing of her town.
