Dive into holiday movies

By Amy Staples

Today marks the return of dive-in movies at the Aquatic Center.

Over the next two weeks the Center will be showing holiday movies suitable for family members of all ages. The movies start at 6:45 p.m. and run to 8:45 p.m.

Tonight the films are “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” “The Little Drummer Boy” and “Frosty the Snowman.”

Friday, Dec. 15, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” will be shown.

An Aquatic Center tradition for four years or more, according to Kathie Noel, lead clerk, at the dive-in fives families and community members a chance to watch movies projected on a wall in the indoor pool facility and have fun in the pool at the same time.

Call the Aquatic Center at 503-491-7243 with any questions.
