Fee Increase needs support
Club Fair was paid for by you, the student. Exciting events are held every month, nearly every week, which are paid for by you. Thank you.

Last week, the ASG Executive Cabinet voted to approve an increase in student activities fees, by $1 per credit hour. The members of the ASG understand how important student activities are, and how vital they are to providing our campus with some sort of unity, a feeling of a campus community.

The people who put on these events work very hard, the people who work on the many projects and activities on campus work very hard. For all the hard work these people put in, we should do what we can as a campus to show them we appreciate the things they do.

But, you may be asking yourself, how can I help?

You can help keep these activities funded by attending the MHCCD Board meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 8 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room at MHCC. The public forum is where you will get your chance to tell the board members you, the student, support this increase.
