Last day to drop single class arrives

The last day to drop an individual class or change grading status for an 11-week class is today.
The last day to completely withdraw from Spring Term is Friday, June 9.

Paper schedules arrive late

Paper versions of the schedule for summer term are due to arrive Wednesday, according to a message from Al Sigala, MHCC director of media and public relations. The schedules are late due to complications with the printing companies.The summer schedule is currently available online at www.mhcc.edu.

Transitions provides info session

According to Cynthia Dettman, coordinator for the Transitions program, there will be two information sessions for the new summer evening Transitions program. The sessions will occur May 25 and June 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Board Room. No registration is required. The summer program is, according to Dettman, interested in recruting minority and non-native English speaking women who want to enter a healthcare career. Fundraiser coming to MHCC

The Student Activities Board is organizing the 2006 Troutdale Relay for Life at Mt. Hood Community College June 23 and 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. on the track in the PE complex.
According to Holly Ball, one of the organizers for this event with the American Cancer Society, the relay for life started in 1981.
At this year’s event, there will be food, bands, and a luminaria ceremony, which honors people who lost their lives to cancer, as well as survivors of cancer.
Teams of eight to 15 people can sign up though Ball by contacting her at 503-795-3946 or by e-mail at [email protected]. The sign up deadline is June 1 and the registration fee for one team is $100.
