College celebrates 40th birthday

Some students may be surprised to learn that when Mt. Hood Community College first opened its doors to students in the fall of 1966, classes were held not at the present 212-acre campus, but at the current site of Gresham Town Fair, near Division and Eastman Parkway. Gresham mayor Charles Becker was in attendance at the April 20 celebration.
