A vaccination for H1N1 flu is expected to be available by Oct. 24.
According to the MHCC website there are no confirmed cases of swine flu at MHCC.

The swine flu is a new mutation of the H1N1 flu virus.

During the summer, it was reported that 2,000 students at Washington State University (WSU) were sick with swine flu. According to the WSU website, “When Health and Wellness Services reported having had more than 2,000 phone and in-person contacts with students complaining of flu-like symptoms, that became, in the journalistic shorthand of some news outlets, ‘More than 2,000 sick with swine flu at WSU’.”

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people know the proper precautions to take when they start exhibiting swine flu-like symptoms.

If you contract influenza the CDC recommends you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
