Three support staff members were recognized for outstanding performance in the workplace at the end of fall quarter.
The Outstanding Support Staff Awards were awarded to Jeff Hart, Darcy Dalrymple and Katrinia McNeal.
Jeff Hart, a systems administrator in the Computer Services Department, was honored for his “innovative approach to performing his job duties as well as his notable patience and ever present sociable and professional behavior,” according to his nomination.
Student Records Coordinator Darcy Dalrymple was recognized for, among other things, “her excellent customer skills, uplifting attitude, and cool head at what has been called one of MHCC’s most high-pressure jobs,” the nomination read.
Katrinia McNeal, administrative assistant in the business and computer information systems area, was given the award “for her direct involvement in and support of numerous events and programs on campus as well as her leading example of friendliness, openness, and communication,” according to her nomination.
The Outstanding Support Staff Awards are given annually to support staff who demonstrate several examples through demonstrating a positive attitude toward MHCC; going the “extra mile” in their job performance; exhibiting excellent people skills; being an example of professional behavior; and participating in volunteer work or community involvement.
The awards have been given out by the MHCC Foundation since 1987.
