Top 10 reasons to attend Mt. Hood Community College
Here is a list of the top ten reasons to attend Mt. Hood Community College.
1. Mt. Hood Community College Saints softball team won the NWAACC Championship last year! Go Saints!
2. If you catch the “red fish” in the pond, you win!
3. Most campus events include free food and we all know how poor college students are.
4. The Advocate (applause)
5. Free parking! (really loud applause)
6. The slogan “Be your dream”
7. MHCC works well with others — partnerships with University of Oregon, Eastern Oregon University, Marylhurst University, Oregon Health and Sciences University, Oregon Institute of Technology, and Portland State University for students planning to transfer to a four-year college.
8. Both the Gamers Club and the Wildside Club for videogame voyeurs and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
9. The Child Development Center for providing free daycare (if you are eligible) and early childhood education teaching programs.
10. A variety of study abroad opportunities including learning a language in Costa Rica, Mexico, Kyoto, Japan, and Florence, Italy.
