.Gazing on the Washington Monument from Arlington National Cemetery, we are reminded of the great cost of freedom. On November ll, we celebrate the sacrifice and deteremination of those who serve and have served our country in the armed forces. This Veterans Day brings an opportunity to show appreciation for the work that veterans do for the sake of our nation’s freedom. Veterans like Mt. Hood Community College student Jeff Greiling are all around. A way for veterans to connect is the Veterans Committee being created on campus.
